Biography
I started teaching in the 2002-2003 school year. I have been teaching art here at Temple High School ever since. I teach Advanced Art I, Art III, Art IV, Studio Art and IB Visual Art I & II. I graduated from Mary Hardin- Baylor in 2001 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology. While continuing to teach here I went back in gained my Masters in Community Counseling in 2006 as well. I adore having the oppertunity to teach in the arts. Seeing my students find thier voice and style is amazing and encouraging them to use thier creative and problem solving skills in all part of thier lives is so exciting. I truely believe that creativity is one of the beautiful things that makes us each so unique and amazingly human.
