Courtney Mitchell was raised in Temple Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University in 2009. She then went on to achieve a Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2019.

Mrs. Mitchell is in her twelfth year in public education. She’s a proud Alumni of Temple High School. Her experience includes EC-12 Physical Education Teacher and Coach at Bethune & Dickson Early Childhood Center, Bonham and Travis Middle Schools, Head Volleyball Coach at Temple High School, as well as being a Biology Inclusion Teacher at Temple High School. Mrs. Mitchell was selected as one of the Assistant Principal at Temple High School. 

Mrs. Mitchell and her husband, Undre, have been married for 8 years.
