What is GEAR UP?
- GEAR UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs.
- GEAR UP is a federal partnership grant awarded to TISD and The Education Service Center Region 12 by the US Department of Education. This grant will provide services to students in the classes of 2023 and 2024 through graduation.
What does GEAR UP offer?
- GEAR UP provides the following services:
- Mentoring
- Tutoring
- College Visits/Tours
- Job Shadowing/Career Exploration
- Counseling
- Financial Literacy
- Financial Aid Counseling
- Student and Parent Workshops
- Leadership Development
