Jason Mayo was born and raised in Killeen, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2002; his Masters in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University in 2005; and his Doctor of Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2013.

 

Dr. Mayo is in his eighteenth year in public education. His experiences include social studies teacher and coach in Killeen ISD, assistant principal for elementary, middle and high school in Belton ISD, and principal at Bonham Middle School in Temple ISD. In 2015, Dr. Mayo was selected as the principal of Temple High School.  Dr. Mayo also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

 

Dr. Mayo and his wife, Audrey, have been married for over 12 years and have two children, Jase (10) and Sydney (8).
