Chris McCollough was raised in Temple Texas, and attend Temple ISD schools from Elementary to High School. After graduating Temple High School in 1999 he attended Texas State University in San Marcos Texas where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation he spent 2 years working in Iraq as a Civilian Contractor on a Marine Base. Upon returning home, he worked for a Foster Care Agency which led him to his career in education. He worked in a Special Education classroom at Shoemaker High School in Killeen, and spent 5 years teaching Math at Belton Middle school. During this time he completed his Masters Degree in Education and Administration at Lamar University. Once he received his degree he was hired a Truancy Officer at Ellison High School, where he worked for several years. As an alumni, he is excited to be serving as Assistant Principal at Temple High.
