My teaching journey began with a Bachelor of Arts Foreign Service degree at Baylor University. Other degrees held are a M.ed Educational Administration from Tarleton State University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I’ve taught several years in the Central Texas area and served in various roles within schools as a teacher, coach, and school administrator. My greatest passion is to teach, instill, and motivate everyone to strive for their best. This love of education and service to students has been built upon several generations of teachers within my family. Every teacher in the family held this motto, “If I can touch the life of just one child, my life, my career has been worth it and made a difference.” My wife and I live in Belton along with our six-year old son, Austin. I spend most of my time with the family, gardening a large number of plants, and cooking.
