Dear Students,

I truly look forward to teaching you this year. I know it will be an exciting and rewarding year. My hope is that you will grow to love and better understand

the Spanish language and culture!

What to expect?

I will provide a basic foundation of language:

• Reading

• Writing

• Listening

• Speaking

How to have a successful year?

• You will need to study your vocabulary and practice it!

• Make time to listen to a Spanish channel or a friend. 

• Practice...Practice… Practice!

Grades/ homework Policy:

• Quizzes & homework are assigned weekly.

• Tests & Projects are given with notice.

• Projects assigned every 9wks.

• Grade check on Friday!

** 20 pts will be deducted for all late work. No work will be accepted after the Tuesday before each grading period.

*May retake a major grade below 70 within 5 days

Absences: Students are responsible to get and complete work on time.

Classroom Expectations:

• Be in your assigned seat
  • Bring materials to class

• NO Phones or Chromebooks used in class unless indicated

• Follow TEMPLE ISD Code of Conduct
