Temple will send four individuals and all six of its relay teams to the UIL Class 5A Region V swim meet after competing in the District 17-5A meet Friday and Saturday at Hardin Swim Center.
“We dropped time on everybody again today,” Temple coach Trey Sullivan said. “Everybody just did a tremendous job. I’m just real proud of everybody.”
The top six finishers in each event qualified for the regional meet Feb. 5 and 6 at the Texas A&M Student Rec Center in College Station.
Senior Reece Dickson-Sullivan was the Wildcats’ top individual with a pair of personal-best performances. He turned in a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle and took second in the 200 free.
