The Shuffle for Shoes 5K Run/Walk returns this year on June 11, 2016.
Organized by Scott Elementary School, this year's event will take place at the Pepper Creek Trail at 546 N. Kegley Rd in Temple.
Onsite registration begins at 7am with the race starting at 8am.
Early registration is $20 and onsite registration is $25.
The money raised will help buy a new pair of shoes for Temple ISD students in need, and donations of new running shoes are also accepted.
