Bilingual/Esl

Temple High School offers English as a Second Language (ESL) and supports students as they develop language acquisition. Instruction in reading, writing, listening, and speaking is targeted by using Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS).  Students will receive accelerated vocabulary instruction to ensure success in school. All instruction is delivered in English at all grade levels with instructional scaffolding accommodations provided as needed to ensure success.
