Temple High School’s Languages Other Than English department is composed of eleven teachers who have lived and studied in many parts of the world. Offering programs in French, German, Latin, and Spanish, students have the opportunity to study their chosen language up to the AP and IB levels. Many of our students graduate having earned college credit for foreign language courses. THS is rich in language resources, including a state-of-the-art language lab where students practice speaking individually and with other students. Every program has an active language club, so students are able to engage with their peers both in and out of class. Many of our language programs also offer opportunities for students to travel to foreign countries and apply what they’ve learned in real-life scenarios.
