Biography
I am starting at Temple High School as the Medical Administration Practicum teacher and one of the Health Science Technology teachers. I graduated from Ashford University with a BA in Educational Studies and Temple College with an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Prior to that, I earned a certification in Respiratory Therapy from McLennan Community College. I have worked in healthcare for about 30 years. I love direct patient care and am passionate about promoting health careers to my students. The healthcare industry is the largest business in America which also offers the highest paying careers. One of the greatest aspects of this program is that it partners with local businesses so students have opportunities to gain real life experiences. The ultimate goal is to ensure our students are college or career ready upon graduating from high school.
